I’m the founder of Tails upon Thames, and my life has always revolved around animals. I grew up in Cumbria surrounded by horses, show dogs, working gundogs, and a deep appreciation for animal care. After earning a BSc in Zoology, I gained hands-on experience in conservation in South Africa, interned at ZSL London Zoo, and worked at Battersea Dogs Home, where I formed a special bond with nervous rescues.

In 2018, I brought together my passion and experience to launch Tails upon Thames to offer expert, compassionate pet care. I’m a certified dog walker, canine first certified, and a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, dedicated to ethical, force-free methods that use positive reinforcement, movement, and play to build trust, confidence, and lasting behaviour change.

Based in Lower Feltham, Tails upon Thames provides group adventure walks in a secure private paddock, training sessions, home visits, solo walks, and other tailored pet care services. Our RSPCA-approved vans cover Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton, Kingston, and Molesey.
